  Swinging Terrace

  No other hinged door can capture as expansive a view as a Loewen Terrace door, thanks to our large glass areas and sturdy all wood construction.

  We offer you two styles to choose from: Traditional and French. Traditional Terrace doors hinge in the middle so that one panel is fixed and the other operates. By contrast, French Terrace doors are hinged on the outside to allow both doors to operate from the middle. Outswing versions of both styles are available as options.

  Sliding Patio

  The epitome of leisure living, easy-operating Sliding Patio doors bring the outside in with style.

  Functioning like large moving windows, Loewen Sliding Patio doors can open up the walls in your home to new possibilities - imagine our spectacular seven-panel, 24' wide model, for example.

  To make our doors safe, secure and easy to operate, Loewen uses laminated sash construction, thick, tempered safety glass and smooth tandem rollers. For added security, Loewen builds an anti-lift latch into every patio door. An optional foot lock is also available, as is manual three-point hardware.

  LiftSlide

  The Loewen LiftSlide complements other product line in terms of profiles, interior vertical grain Douglas Fir finish and exterior metal clad colors. Created with the highest level of quality, the LiftSlide is an excellent companion product for Loewen projects offering consistent appearance, function and quality.

  The Loewen LiftSlide allows expansive glass panels to roll smoothly and easily during operation. This not only provides a panoramic view, it extends the living space of your home.

  The doors glide easily on almost-unnoticeable stainless steel "Barely There" tracks. With the touch of a hand, the LiftSlide mechanism effortlessly carries glass panels weighing up to 850 pounds. The track protrudes 3/16" above the finished floor so your interiors and exterior finishes flow seamlessly. For more inclement environments, a raised threshold is available for additional protection.

  LiftSlide rails and stiles are comprised of three various constructions; all wood, all aluminm, and an aluminum/wood hybrid. The high structural integrity and raised threshold option allows LiftSlides to be located in areas of exposure where homeowners want a broad view --- mountain, hillside, coastline, or lakefront vistas with minimal siteline interference.

  The LiftSlide can be manufactured in straight, radius, serpentine, corner and angled configurations. While the LiftSlide is a unique entryway product, it is fully compatible with the Loewen product portfolio.

  Possibilities unfold with Loewen Bifold Doors, an expansive new addition to the Loewen product line. Bifold Doors virtually disappear, creating stunning transitions to the fresh air and spaciousness of outdoor living. When closed, Bifold Doors provide privacy and protection while allowing unobstructed views.

  Bifold Doors are available in configurations up to 16 panels, allowing for openings up to 52 feet wide. Folding to the outside so as not to disturb interior furnishings, Bifold Doors play with the proportions of traditional living areas and put outdoor spaces in a new perspective
